I offer in home AP Computer Science tutoring in Princeton, West Windsor, Plainsboro, and South Brunswick, New Jersey and nearby towns.
Tutoring is available for AP Computer Science coursework and for the AP Computer Science Exam. Enrichment activities are also available. Tutoring for most other computer courses and for many math courses is also available.
Students I tutor receive 24/7 online access to the materials I use in my classroom. Materials include AP Computer Science practice exams, a complete list of course assignments, special projects, and tests and quizzes. Special projects vary annually and include custom implementations of the ArrayList, TreeMap, and MaxHeap data structures. Also included are projects that utilize or extend the GridWorld Case Study, which accounts for approximately a quarter of each AP Computer Science Exam.

Qualifications
I work as both an AP Computer Science tutor and as a certified teacher at West Windsor Plainsboro High School South in Princeton Junction, New Jersey. A brief introduction is available on my About page.
Students’ scores on the AP Computer Science A Exam and the AP Computer Science AB Exam have risen substantially and consistently since I began teaching the courses. Over 91% of my students who have taken the AP Computer Science A Exam have earned a 4 or a 5. Please visit my AP Exam Results page for results from the 2005-2008 Exams.
Teams of 3 students from my classes won the 2007 and 2010 NJIT High School Programming Contests. My students have written mobile phone games in Java as well as other unique and challenging programs. My courses teach Java development using Eclipse, BlueJ, and the command line.
Prices
Individual in home tutoring is $70 per hour. Tutoring of pairs of students from the same course (regardless of relationship) is $100 per hour. Group sessions that focus on specific topics are $130 per hour for groups no larger than 4 students.
There is no charge for travel to locations within the towns below. For other locations, please contact me for travel costs.

Conflict of interest limitation
I do not privately tutor my own students. Students currently enrolled in my classes who are seeking extra help should schedule time with me during their study hall periods, during lunch, or in the morning.
